2+2 Associate Degrees

The Florida High Tech Corridor Council has invested more than $1.1 million into the creation of technology degree and certificate programs with partner community and state colleges including:

2+2 Associate Degrees

• Microelectronics – Valencia College
• Biotechnology – St. Petersburg College
• Modeling, Simulation & Robotics – Daytona State College
• Photonics – UCF and other state and community colleges
• IT Security – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota
• Wireless Technologies – Polk State College
• Digital Media – Seminole State College of Florida

Certificate Programs

• Aerospace Technician Program – Brevard Community College
• Manufacturing Center of Excellence – Hillsborough Community College

These programs enable students who graduate with a high tech associate’s degree to either obtain a technician job in the area or seamlessly transition to a Corridor university to continue their education to achieve a bachelor’s degree in the same program.
