2+2 Associate Degrees

The Florida High Tech Corridor Council is committed to programs that develop the high tech workforce of tomorrow through programs that include: encouraging the development of high tech degrees, certificates and curricula; expanding training labs; partnering with science centers to develop educational exhibits; and, leading programs called techCAMPs. A major workforce initiative included the investment of more than $1.1 million into the creation of technology degree and certificate programs with partner community and state colleges including:

Certificate Programs

These programs enable students who graduate with a high tech associate’s degree to either obtain a technician job in the area or seamlessly transition to a Corridor university to continue their education to achieve a bachelor’s degree in the same program.
