“… an amazing demonstration of civic responsibility and pride.”
As each
year ends, I continue to be amazed by the contribution of time and talent that
comes to the Florida High Tech Corridor Council through so many organizations
and people.
This year’s report chronicles the story of more than 20,000 volunteer hours …
the donated time of men and women from companies, universities, colleges,
economic development organizations, government and other organizations across
the heart of our state who believe in the cause of building a more diverse
economy.
Our thanks to all of them … to those who authorize it and those who perform the
work. This is truly an amazing demonstration of civic responsibility and pride.
I am proud of all that we’ve accomplished in 2004 and look forward to a great
2005 – beginning with the addition of the University of Florida to our founding
universities the University of Central Florida and the University of South
Florida. The Florida High Tech Corridor Council has already been recognized
nationwide and internationally as a powerful collaborative concept and now we
boast not two but three of America’s great universities working together for the
good of the region.
Sincerely,
Randy Berridge, President
Florida High Tech Corridor Council
