"Research Summary"
Greatly bolstering Florida's economy, medical technology companies across Florida's High Tech Corridor produce billions of dollars of revenue annually. Research by these companies must be funded and backed, and this year the Council contributed more than $480,000 to six projects involving six corporate partners. This money was matched by nearly $881,000 in corporate and institutional funds for a total of approximately $1.4 million. The specific projects completed are listed below.
