What to Expect:

Mini-meetings
Career Expo features a fast-paced “mini-meeting” session where company representatives meet with 100 career center directors (CCDs) who counsel tens of thousands of educated, highly skilled students from the most prestigious universities and colleges.  Designed to establish initial contact with CCDs, the five-minute face-to-face interaction gives company representatives the chance to share their hiring needs directly with CCDs.

Career Expo also provides time for Corridor company representatives to talk with CCDs in a more relaxed setting during informal lunches, cocktail events and dinners.

Beneficial tools at Career Expo:

  • Laptop (Wi-Fi will be available in expo hall)
  • HR or recruitment materials
  • Specific job listings or position descriptions
  • Company benefit packages
  • Information about relocation to your region

What to leave with:

After attending Career Expo, develop a plan to keep in contact with each of the CCDs you meet at the event.

  • Register within each school’s career center Web system.
  • Post your open positions.
  • Collaborate with CCDs to design creative initiatives (special internship programs, onsite interviews, etc.).
