What to Expect:

Mini-meetings
Career Expo features a fast-paced “mini-meeting” session where CCDs will meet more than 100 representatives from high tech companies, large and small, spanning across the 23-county region that makes up the Florida High Tech Corridor.  Designed to establish initial contact with Corridor company representatives, the five-minute face-to-face interaction gives CCDs the opportunity to learn about the numerous high tech career possibilities each company offers to students and graduates.

Health and Special Sessions
Career Expo ’08 will host break-out information sessions for the Corridor’s hospital systems showcasing their high tech hiring opportunities.  Home to five hospitals ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” list, the Corridor offers diverse opportunities for students and graduates seeking careers in the healthcare industry.  CCDs will also have the opportunity to meet with selected Corridor companies in a more personal setting.

Career Expo ’08 also provides time for CCDs to talk with Corridor company representatives in a more relaxed setting during informal lunches, cocktail events and a complimentary dinner at the Florida Aquarium.
